8 new episodes of our “How to be French” series are now in production. The new episodes recently green-lit by Telus Originals will be filmed in British Columbia. The success of How to be French en Alberta has garnered interest for an expanded version of the series highlighting French characters and communities in other Canadian provinces.
370,000 French speakers call British Columbia home! B.C. has the fourth largest Francophone community in Canada. There are approximately 70,000 Francophones and 300,000 Francophiles. “How to be French en Colombie-Britannique” thrives to shed light on the Francophone communities throughout B.C through character based short documentaries.
Filming will take place in Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon and Prince George in the spring of 2019.
