Fondatrice et Productrice exécutive 

Marie-France travaille dans l’industrie du film et de la télévision en Alberta depuis plus de 12 ans à titre de productrice, d’auteure, de réalisatrice et d’animatrice. En 2008, elle réalise son premier court métrage documentaire avec l’ONF dans le cadre du concours tremplin LE CHOEUR D’UNE CULTURE et en 2010 son prochain MON PÈRE LE ROI. Marie-France a une capacité de raconter des histoires et révéler les personnages de ses films avec beaucoup de sensibilité et de créativité. Comme cinéaste, son objectif est d'explorer des histoires personnelles qui exposent la vulnérabilité humaine et incite les téléspectateurs à voir différemment le monde qui les entoure.

Elle a un parcours riche en production télévision ayant réalisé la série télévisée CARAVANE ALBERTA et a été productrice déléguée de l’émission jeunesse ONIVA! diffusée à l’échelle nationale sur Radio-Canada Télé. Son talent a été récompensé à maintes reprises, notamment dans le cadre du Yorkton Film Festival en 2017 alors qu'elle et Steve recevaient un prestigieux Golden Sheaf Award pour le meilleur documentaire pour THE SECRET LIFE OF PIANOS et a été nommée aux 2017 Alberta Film and Television awards dans la catégorie de meilleure réalisatrice.

Marie-France a co-produit et réalisé de nombreuses productions dont le documentaire unique LES CORDES DE LA VICTOIRE; la série documentaire COW-BOY URBAIN ; une série de 18 court-métrages documentaire intitulé HOW TO BE FRENCH . Elle a récemment réalisé le long métrage documentaire SANS MAMAN produit par l'ONF sur le deuil en bas âge.

As a documentary filmmaker, Marie-France is fascinated by the human condition and is compelled by who we are and why we do the things we do.  Her documentary career began in 2008 when she directed her first short French language documentaries with the NFB / ONF MON PÈRE, LE ROI and her second in 2010 LE CHOEUR D'UNE CULTURE. Since then she has garnered multiple nominations and awards including a Golden Sheaf award from the Yorkton Film Festival for THE SECRET LIFE OF PIANOS. Currently, she is producing and directing multiple projects including : a one-off French language documentary entitled LES CORDES DE LA VICTOIRE ; a documentary series of Telus Originals short docs called HOW TO BE FRENCH; and is in production on the second season of their 6 x 52min documentary series COW-BOY URBAIN. In 2019, her feature length documentary produced by the National Film Board of Canada UNMOTHERED had a successful festival release and national television broadcast on TV5/UnisTV. UNMOTHERED garnered several nominations and was awarded “Best Canadian Feature” at NorthWest Fest International Documentary Festival. Marie-France has been on various arts boards including the board of  DOC Alberta, the Alberta chapter of the Documentary Organization of Canada and the Regroupement Artistique Francophone de l’Alberta.
